How to find the Museum
The Berkshire Scenic Railway Museum/Lenox Station is located 2.5 miles east of historic downtown Lenox, MA (1.5 miles from Routes 7 & 20) at the east end of Housatonic Street. From Pittsfield and points north, make a left turn from Routes 7 & 20 onto Housatonic Street. From Mass Pike Exit 2 (Lee) follow Route 20 west 4.5 miles to a right turn onto Housatonic Street. From The Red Lion Inn in Stockbridge and points west and south follow Route 7 north 6.3 miles to a right turn onto Housatonic Street. At the end of Housatonic Street make a left turn onto Willow Creek Road and continue 100 yards to the Museum/Station entrance which is marked by a railroad crossing sign.

About the Train Ride
On weekends and holidays (Memorial Day weekend through the last weekend in October) the Museum offers two ninety minute round trip excursions from Lenox Station to Stockbridge and a forty-five minute round trip excursion from Lenox Station to Lee narrated by a uniformed conductor. Using a diesel locomotive from the 1950s and vintage standard gauge coaches from the 1920s. The ride provides a perfect introduction to the fun and history of railroading in Western Massachusetts and across the country.
Tickets for the round trip train ride (there is no charge for admission to the museum in the station or to the Gilded Age Exhibit. Prices are subject to change and the museum reserves the right to change or cancel service without notice.

Schedule
Trains leave Lenox for the 90 minute round trip to Stockbridge at 10:10am
and 2:20pm. A shorter 45 minute round trip to Lee leaves Lenox at 12:15pm.
Please allow time to park and come into the station to buy your tickets
before train time.
