1. How much are tickets?
Tickets are $20.00 for ages 15+ and $12.00 for ages 2-14. Children under 2 are no charge. There is a small service charge for ordering tickets online through our website.
2. When is the event?
Saturday July 24, 2010.
3. How long does the event last?
The train departs Lenox Station promptly at 5:00pm. The train will arrive in Stockbridge 40 minutes later for a concert with David Grover that lasts one hour. During the concert, there will be activities available for the kids. The train will depart Stockbridge at approximately 6:45pm, and will arrive back in Lenox at approximately 7:15pm.
4. How do I purchase tickets?
Tickets can be purchased through our website at www.berkshirescenicrailroad.org. A major credit card is needed. Tickets are on a will-call basis and are picked up the day of the event, beginning at 4:30pm.
5. Can I get a refund if my plans change or there is inclement weather?
Tickets are non-refundable. We will operate even in inclement weather. We also will operate on time and will not be able to hold the train for you if you are running late. We advise allowing sufficient travel time if travel conditions are less than ideal.
6. What happens during the event?
The event includes a scenic train ride to Stockbridge and a concert by David Grover. There are activities for the kids including crafts and goodies.
7. Can we bring food to the event?
Yes, you may bring a picnic if you would like.
8. How many Polar Express™ tickets can I order?
Guests purchasing David Grover tickets will have the ability to purchase tickets for the Polar Express one day before the general public, while attending the David Grover event. Upon return to Lenox Station, one representative from your party can purchase your Polar Express tickets. You will be permitted to purchase the same number of Polar Express tickets, for a single date, as you purchased for David Grover. For example, if you purchased 2 adult and 2 child tickets for David Grover, you can purchase 2 adult and 2 child tickets for one Polar Express train. You must pay with a major credit card. For additional limitations and restrictions about Polar Express tickets, please visit our Polar Express FAQ page. This special pre-order option is only available at the David Grover event. Tickets for the Polar Express are on sale to the general public as of July 25, 2010.
